Delivery and Returns
Everything we make is made to order at our own production site in Leicestershire, then delivered to you ready to fit. Here is what to expect, and where you stand if something is not right.
Where we deliver
We deliver to mainland UK addresses. If you are outside mainland UK, or the delivery address is hard for a large vehicle to reach, talk to us before you order and we will tell you what is possible.
How long it takes
Nothing sits on a shelf. Your cover, blind or windbreak is cut and made after you order, which is why the fit and the finish are yours rather than a compromise. Made to order products are usually with you in about three weeks.
The lead time we give you when you order, and repeat in your order acknowledgement, is our genuine estimate. Delivery dates are approximate. If anything outside our control holds an order up, we will tell you rather than leave you guessing.
Delivery charges
Delivery is charged once per order, not per item, and it is always shown before you pay. The charge is priced from your delivery postcode. Deliveries inside the M25 are £100 + VAT and central London is £150 + VAT, because congestion and access make that run cost more. You will see it on the product page as you build your order, and again on the checkout summary. There are no charges added after you have paid.
Receiving your delivery
Deliveries come by courier. If nobody is available to take the delivery and it cannot be left in a safe place you have nominated, the courier will leave instructions for rearranging delivery or collection.
Please open and check everything when it arrives, before you start fitting. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery, and ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full in cleared funds.
Fitting is down to you
Every product is a self fit kit. It comes with a printed guide, and there is a step by step video for each product on our how to fit pages. We do not offer a fitting service and we do not carry out site surveys, so please make sure the building or space suits the product before you order. Our measuring guides walk you through it, and we are happy to check details with you first.
Cancelling an order
What you can cancel depends on what you ordered.
- Made to measure products, including anything you design in our configurator, are made to your specification. The usual 14 day cooling off period does not apply to them. Once we have accepted your order it can only be cancelled with our written agreement, and we may deduct costs we have already incurred. If you need to change something, tell us straight away. Before production starts we can usually help.
- Standard size products from our online shop can be cancelled up to 14 days after delivery. Tell us in writing within that period, then return the products unused, in their original condition and packaging, within 14 days of telling us. You pay the cost of return, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving the products back.
These rights sit alongside your rights when something is faulty. Those are never limited.
If something is faulty or damaged
Tell us as soon as you can, ideally with a few photos and your order details. If a product is faulty we will repair it, remake it or refund you, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides. Where we ask you to return a faulty product, we will not leave you out of pocket for the return.
Faults in our manufacture and materials are also covered by the product guarantee. The period varies by product, so check the product page or our guarantee page for the exact cover.
